1. Taking part in the study
Anyone aged 45 or over living in mainland France can take part.
No. The entire study is carried out remotely, from your home.

- You sign the consent form online.
- You receive a mouth swab collection kit at home.
- You take the sample yourself and return it in a prepaid envelope.

A postal worker can collect your envelope from your home 4 days after delivery. If you prefer, you can also drop it off yourself at a La Poste post office.
2. About the sample
A simple, completely painless mouth swab.
The extracted DNA is used to determine your APOE genotype. This result will not be communicated to you.
